Disney really gets an early start celebrating the holidays! Halloween merch hit World of Disney in August, and this month the Christmas merch arrives at the Disney Stores! What’s interesting is that the Halloween merch arrived at Downtown Disney before hitting the stores, but now the Christmas merch has hit the stores before making it to World of Disney!
Christmas Plushies
Oh my goodness! Talk about cuteness overload! I am a sucker for plush lately! I purchased the Pluto plush, Chip and Dale, and a bunch of Mickey and Minnie gingerbreads. The gingerbread plush is scented and smells amazing! Stitch’s sweater lights up if you press it and Mickey and Minnie have the Disney Store 2020 logo on the bottom of their shoes.
Holiday Clothes
Upon seeing this year’s gingerbread renditions of the characters for the first time, I didn’t know how I felt about them. I love last year’s version and this year seems so spruced up. However, once seeing it in person, I LOVE IT! They have a “sugar rush” vibe to them. No Christmas Spirit Jersey’s have made it into the stores yet, but I bet they will soon. I would be willing to bet money that they will release a park exclusive Spirit Jersey that has this gingerbread print on it. Which will be a definite must for me!
Holiday Home Decor
The Christmas tree skirt, the pillow, and the fleece throw make a perfect trio. I find that their tree skirts are beautifully made and of good quality. I wish that the throw would have had more Disney characters on it. I love the Disney rendition of the reindeer but feel that Pluto should have been on it.
Disney Tree Decor
This year’s Nightmare Before Christmas ornament set contains seven ornaments donning different characters. Mickey and Minnie don this year’s light-up tree topper. Do you decorate more Nightmare Before Christmas or Mickey and Friends classic?
Gingerbread Pin 2020
More Mickey and Minnie gingerbread cuties merch. Whenever I see 2020…I get a mix of emotions. It is a memorable year. I have great memories and equally not so great memories. How can one year bring such conflicting feelings? Some stores keep this pin behind the counter while others just have them out for grabs.

How realistic looking is this Baby Yoda ornament? Gotta have a Baby Yoda in your tree! I’ve been noticing that they are releasing more new ornaments since they first put out their initial round of Christmas stuff.

Spirit Jersey Release on ShopDisney
ShopDisney released three Spirit Jersey’s the beginning of this week. I believe that some of these will hit the Disney stores, and the Disneyland one might hit World of Disney. The holiday cheer one is cute and is a sherpa material. Have you noticed that prices have gone up? Prices keep increasing. Last year it was $64.99 for plainer jerseys and $70 for the more festive. Now, the special ones have a price tag of $74.99. At the parks, the minimum is $70. Luckily ShopDisney and Disney Stores still sell some for $64.99.
Halloween hasn’t even arrived yet and now I got my brain on Christmas. I know one thing is for sure, I cannot wait to celebrate the Holidays this year Disney style. If we can’t be in the parks, then we gotta make that Disney magic at home!
