BlackMilk Clothing is an online clothing company based in Australia. BlackMilk sells a variety of clothing and is known for its unique style and licensed material. The company started from scratch and the story of how it started is quite inspiring. If you are into clothing, you might have seen some of their stuff on Instagram. They carry some licensed gems from Disney, Star Wars, Pokemon, Harry Potter, and much more. As a Disney lover, I have seen some overalls that they have carried in the past, and I had to get a pair. They sell out of their items pretty quickly so when I saw a pair of Mickey overalls in a size that I may fit, I purchased a pair.

How to Order

You can order products directly from their website. They ship from Australia so the shipping time might take about 4-6 weeks. Given the pandemic right now, my overalls arrived a little under four weeks. The shipping fee was not too costly, it was $10 to ship to the United States.

Sizing and Fit

BlackMilk offers sizes in XXS – XXL. You can check out their sizing chart here. I purchased an XS based on their US measurements and my bra size. An XS was a 4-6 in US size, as listed on their website. My body type is athletic, I am 5’1″ and around 105 pounds. Let me mention that most of my weight is in my butt and thighs. While the overalls fit perfectly up top and on my waistline, it was a little snug on my hips and butt. I feel I have to keep pulling them down so they don’t ride up my butt. The overalls are a bit snug on me. The top portion and the waist feels fine. I feel that when in doubt you should size up. If I purchase from BlackMilk again, I will be ordering a small size.

Pricing

I bought the BlackMilk Clothing while it was priced in AUD. The overalls cost $109 AUD. If you have a credit card that doesn’t charge any foreign transaction fees, I recommend using that. I have the Chase Sapphire Card that doesn’t charge any fees and was able to earn points with it. The total charge with shipping cost me about $83 USD. I found out after the fact that if you go on the site, on the top left corner, you have an option to change the pricing currency.

Material

According to their specs, the overalls are made from their lightly fleece-lined Toastie fabric, which is composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. The material is thick and not like your typical Disney leggings, which are made of thinner material. It’s even thicker than Lululemon leggings and your average workout leggings. You can tell that it’s not cheaply made. There is some stretch to them while holding durability. The straps were designed and made perfectly and it was easy to adjust with the buckle.

Overall Rating

Five Stars! The quality of the fabric over-exceeded my expectations. The all-over print is so cute and I can’t wait to rock it in the parks. Was it worth $70? I’d say so. You can tell that the product was well thought out. Everything from the cut to the style. I love the depth of the front pockets and the length/hang of the overall straps. They are perfectly symmetrical.
Now I am on the hunt for their “The Child” overalls that sold out.

Have you bought anything from BlackMilk? What do you think of their items? What is the print that you have?
