It’s almost September and Halloween feels like it’s getting close and closer. Before becoming a Disney AP, I would not have even thought about Halloween until mid-September! Disney releases Halloween merchandise in August, so now, all I can think about is Halloween. One of the things I had been eyeing was the Zero matching sweater and sweats. I love Zero, he is such a loyal and sweet pup. In the movie (Nightmare Before Christmas), he’s always by Jack’s side trying to help. When Jack is analyzing all the Christmas items he took, Zero is just patiently lying in his bed waiting for Jack. Aah, I love him. He is my favorite character in the movie. When I saw the matching sweatsuit, I had to get it.

Zero Pullover Sweatshirt – $39.99

The Zero sweatshirt is available for purchase on ShopDisney. It is also available for purchase at Downtown Disney and Disney Springs. Sizes range between XS – XXL. The sweatshirt is made out of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. It’s a semi-cropped pullover. The inside is a french terry material and it feels more on the thinner side than thicker. I am short and it covers my midsection, but when I reach for the sky, you can see my belly. ShopDisney describes the sweater as “wide with dropped shoulders,” and it does feel a bit wide and boxy. I am normally an XS but I got a size S for this for a roomier fit.

Zero Sweatshirt Print Details

Zero’s face is screen printed on the sweatshirt, but you can’t see his nose! There is nothing on the back of the sweatshirt. I looked for his nose everywhere and it’s nowhere to be found. The spiderweb detail is embroidered on the “O” in Zero, which is a beautiful detail that really makes the sweater stand out.

Zero Sweatshirt Cuffs and Hemming

I love that sleeves are cuffed and here is a close up pic of the hemming on the bottom of the sweatshirt.

Zero Sweatpants – $44.99

Zero matching sweatpants! How could you say no to this set? You kind of need the top and bottom to really be stylin’ in it! These are available on ShopDisney and the Parks as well. However, it looks like ShopDisney is currently out of L-XXL. I got the bottoms in an XS and they fit me high waisted. You cannot see Zero’s nose on the pants either! There is nothing on the back and the inside is a french terry material like the top. It’s made out of the same material as the sweatshirt, 60% cotton, and 40% polyester.

Zero Sweatpants Details

I think these sweatpants are made well. The stripes detail looks quality and they are cotton material. The waistband is sturdy and has a drawstring so you loosen up or tighten. Note, that the band doesn’t stretch too much. I am usually a 25-26 pant size and these fit me snug around the midsection without much give.

Zero Sweatpants Print and Cuffs

The Zero print is on the left leg and its screen-printed on like the sweatshirt. The bottom of the pants has ribbed cuffs. This is perfect because I am short and with the cuffs, the sweatpants can’t drag. I think these pants fit more like joggers. They are a little loose, but not as baggy as sweatpants and not as tight as leggings.

Final Thoughts

As mentioned before, I ordered this set from ShopDisney. Strange thing is, I never got a shipping confirmation or tracking number. Then almost two weeks later, it showed up in the mail. I would say that this matching set leans more towards the expensive side. It runs about $85 plus tax for the set. I don’t think it’s bad quality, but I would have preferred for the material to be more fluffy on the inside rather than french terry. I look at it as I am paying more for the style and design.
